Aims at
experimentally and theoretically investigate the temperature-dependent
mechanical behaviour of skin. Trying through a series of experiment to explore
the stress-strain relationship of skin first and then find a better to solve the
basic parameters in mechanical aspect for a microscopic view. Hoping through the
investigation of the structure of skin at every detailed aspect and
thermodynamic point of view we can find out a model that can explain mechanical
behaviour of all such kinds of tissue. Finally can give a much more accurate
illustration with the aim of the load-displacement prediction. This model will
be much more helpful for the clinical use when it come to problems concerning
force-displcement and injury.Thermal stress coupled with thermal damage will
also be studied in this subject. During the stimulus of outside temperature,
temperature gradient will happen, which is thought to be the source of thermal
stress. In the analysis of damage to skin, only thermal damage has been
formulary draw out to quantify the damage caused by temperature. Stress,
according to the literature, has little been correlated with damage, let alone
thermal stress.
