On December 22nd, Bioinspired
Engineering and Biomechanics Center invited Teacher Cai Wang to give a fire
safety training to all memberships in the center.
The training began at half past
2pm in Conference Room 308 of the School of Life Science and Technology.
Teacher Cai Wang first introduced several shocking fire accident and caught our
attention on fire safety. Having a good understanding of fire prevention and
protection is of great importance in both laboratory and daily life. Then, he illustrated
the emergency procedures and departmental evacuation procedures in detail. “Prevention
first, prevention and protection” is the basic policy of fire safety. When fire
happens, all associates should be able to use fire alarm, control incipient
fire hazards and assist in evacuation. At last, he also demonstrated the use of
fire extinguishers, smoke masks and automatic fire extinguishing equipment and
other equipment.
Thanks to this training, we have
been knowledgeable in fire prevention and protection. We will continue to attach
great importance to lab safety and guard against the fire from every beginning.
