On the morning of Dec. 10th, Doctor Xin Zhao was invited to give a talk on Young Talents Lecture Series. Professor Xu introduced Doctor Xin Zhao who graduated from University College London, UK in 2010. She was awarded the prestigious Dorothy Hodgjubs Postgraduate Award from UK EPSRC and Central Research Fund from University of London. Since 2012, Dr. Zha0 worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard-MIT Health Science & Technology (HST).

The lecture's topic is "Biomaterial-based transform regenarative medicine". Dr. Zhao's lecture was divided into three part. The first part is her education and employment experience. Secondly, she introduced her former research projects such as "Drug delivery", "Hard tissue regeneration (bone)", "Soft tissue regeneration (skin)", and "Drug delivery & tissue regenaration (adhession-free tendon regenaration)". The third part is her future work in BEBC.

After the lecture, Prof. Feng Xu made comments on the report. Teachers and students asked questions and traded academic ideas with Dr. Zhao.
