On the afternoon of Oct. 27th, Vice President Prof. Ian Nabney from Aston University (UK) visited our BEBC. Prof. Nabney got his Ph.D. from Cambridge University, aiming at neural network, visualization of pattern recognition technology, model theory and applications.

BEBCers,  Minli You and Jane introduced our lab to him. Prof. Ian Nabney has been discussing the Aston BEng and MEng Biomedical Engineering with the Course Director, and would welcome the chance to work with Prof. Feng Xu on developing a 2+1/2+2 or similar programme for XJTU students. Hope to have more cooperation in the future.
