On September 27, TEDxXJTU
held a speech named "THE MAVERICKS" in XJTU. Prof.Feng Xu from BEBC was invited
to give a lectre base on his own experience and share his feelings with students
in XJTU.
Prof. Xu was once a student of School of Energy and Power Engineering in
XJTU. In his speech, he used his own personal experience as a guide, talking
some particular time of his life to the students. Such as how he decided to have
a further study aboard instead of looking for a job as his fellows, and the
feelings and confusions when he first contacted with interdisciplinary. Finally,
he encouraged all the students to be confident, dare to challenge themselves and
grasp of their own destinies.
The speech is so lively and successful in a word. The
students were very active to ask him questions at rest.
