On June 8th, Dr. Dan Kai from Agency for Science, Technology and Research and Dr. Pengfei Wei from Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences visited BEBC.

Dr. Dan Kai  received his Ph.D. from National University of Singapore in 2013 and now is working in Agency for Science, Technology and Research now. He has published many articles on journals of high level such as Journal of Materials Chemistry B, Acta Biomaterialia, ACS sustainable chemistry & engineering. He gave a talk entitled "Lignin-based functional materials for healthcare applications".

Pengfei Wei associate researcher got his Ph.D. from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. His main research area is for the development and application of optogenetics. He gave a talk entitled"Subcortical Superior Colliculus-Thalamus-Amygdala Pathway Mediates Visually Elicited Innate Fear in Mice" in School of Life Science and Technology in Xi'an JongTong University.
